01. Usage & Expectations
How soon will I see results?
Patience is key to biology. The natural hair growth cycle takes time, typically around 6 weeks. While active ingredients like CoQ10 provide immediate antioxidant support, for most people, it takes about 6 to 12 weeks to see visible density improvement from the root.
Is HUSSSH safe for daily use?
Yes. Unlike harsh prescription treatments or high-chemical shampoos, HUSSSH is sulphate-free and pH-balanced. It is gentle enough for daily washing, and in fact, daily use ensures a consistent supply of DHT-blocking ingredients to the follicle.
Can men and women use it?
Absolutely. HUSSSH is designed for Genetic Hair Loss (Androgenetic Alopecia), which affects both genders. Because our formula is free from hormonal disruptors like Finasteride, it is safe and effective for both men and women.
Is it safe for coloured hair?
Yes. Our formula is sulphate-free (SLS-free), meaning it won't strip colour or dry out chemically treated hair.
02. Ingredients & Purity
Does it contain Parabens?
No. HUSSSH is strictly free from Parabens, Sulphates, and Silicones. We use Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate—a gentle, biodegradable cleanser derived from coconut oil that cleans without stripping.
What is in the 11-Botanical Complex?
We use a synergy of 11 active extracts. Beyond Saw Palmetto and Rosemary, we include Phyllanthus Embilica (Amla) for antioxidant power, Cedarwood to balance scalp oil, and Hibiscus to stimulate dormant follicles.
Why include Niacinamide & Iron?
Hair needs oxygen to grow. We formulate with Ferrous Gluconate (Iron) to aid oxygen transport to the root, and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to improve blood flow, ensuring nutrients actually reach the papilla.
Why no Biotin?
Because biology knows best. Biotin is best absorbed through diet. We focus on what shampoos do best: delivering topical blockers (Saw Palmetto) and circulation boosters (Rosemary) directly to the scalp.
03. Science vs. Prescription
What is DHT?
DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is a hormone that shrinks hair follicles until they can no longer produce hair. HUSSSH uses Saw Palmetto to inhibit the enzyme that creates DHT, effectively "anchoring" the hair you have.
Is Minoxidil effective?
Minoxidil can work, but it acts as a "chemical hammer" and often causes scalp irritation. HUSSSH offers a targeted, natural alternative using Rosemary Oil, which studies show mimics Minoxidil's regrowth properties without the side effects.
What about Finasteride side effects?
Finasteride works systemically, meaning it affects hormones throughout your entire body. This can lead to side effects like loss of libido. HUSSSH works topically, delivering results at the root without entering your bloodstream.
