Did you know that your body already contains some 700 synthetic chemicals that have no relevance to your bodily functions. These everlasting chemicals are the results of our modern world.

At HUSSSH we believe that using more chemicals to treat hair loss is rather silly and a wholly natural approach is what's needed. We have combined 10 plant extracts, and that oils nature has provided. These are proven to have a clinical effect in restoring hair growth in most people.

At Husssh we have taken a deep dive to understand how hair loss and recovery works. One most important aspects of the Husssh product is that it totally suitable for women as well as men. It is effective on all hair types as its primary action is the scalp.

All-Natural Ingredients

HUSSSH Hair Therapy Shampoo contains a variety of essential oils and plant extracts that work on the scalp to encourage hair regrowth.

Our shampoo contains ten, natural ingredients:

  • Serenoa serrulate fruit extract

Commonly called Saw Palmetto. This fruit extract helps the hair rejuvenate. The extract of the fruit helps to keep the follicles open so they can absorb nutrients. It one of the main ingredients.

  • Citrus reticulata fruit extract

This species of citrus fruit includes tangerines, mandarins and satsuma. Mainly composed of monoterpenes (limonene) essential oil has powerful properties: circulatory, calming, relaxing and slightly antiseptic. The limonene and triterpenes are known to promote healthy scalp circulation. In addition, its natural antioxidant activity helps protect against damage caused by free radicals and UV radiation. It also gives a freshness to the aroma whilst restoring dull and lifeless hair back to life.

  • Cedrus deodara wood oil

This cedar tree-based oil helps to cleanse and rebalance the natural oils in your scalp as well as help maintain healthy hair. On the scalp, this oil has been shown to have the effect of triggering the natural oil-producing glands to express their protective oils.

  • Rosemary Oil

In a 2022 study, evidence showed that this oil can help with hair growth. The study also found that the effects of rosemary oil were comparable with the pharmaceutical drug substance Minoxidil and seen in only six weeks.

  • Argan Oil

Often called “liquid gold” due to its healing properties, Argan Oil is especially helpful in hair rejuvenation. It is a powerful antioxidant and contains good levels of vitamin E. The oil is widely used in cosmetic products for its vitamin E properties and for moisturising. This moisturising effect applies to the scalp and can improve hair quality. The fatty acids it contains (oleic and linoleic) lubricate the hair shaft preparing it for growth. By keeping the scalp moisturized, dry skin issues may be avoided.

  • Hibiscus syriacus bark extract

Hibiscus syriacus bark extract comes from the hibiscus plant, which has been used for centuries in Middle Eastern and Far Eastern cultures for its healing properties. While its role in cosmetics is more recent, it's mainly valued for its ability to condition the skin. The extract helps hydrate the scalp and the areas around hair follicles, while also softening and smoothing the skin. These benefits are recognized by the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI).

  • Ferrous gluconate (iron)

Iron deficiency affects the production of haemoglobin which allows red blood cells to carry oxygen. A lack of iron leads to reduced haemoglobin which in turn leads cells not growing or repairing at their normal rate, including those around the hair, resulting in hair loss. By having small amounts in the HUSSSH Therapy Shampoo, the roots are being fed with this mineral. A balanced diet rich in green vegetables will also maintain healthy hair.

  • Ubiquinol Coenzyme Q10

A form of this wholly natural substance is found in the cells of our body. It is especially valuable in heart cells which is why it has the nickname “spark of life”. As we age, the levels of Q10 in our bodies fall. Q10 as a supplement is usually made by fermentation. Q10 has been added to our shampoo as a supplement to aid the hair follicles' direct nutrition. Q10 is found nuts, eggs, oily fish and poultry.

  • Sage Essential Oil

Also known as Sage Essential Oil, this oil is high in antioxidants and helps promote skin health, including the scalp.

    Phyllanthus emblica extract

Phyllanthus emblica extract, also known as Indian Gooseberry, is well-known for its health benefits and has been studied in many scientific papers, including PubMed 10637531. It's packed with vitamin C, tannins, and other polyphenols, giving it strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In Husssh Therapy Shampoo, it's included specifically for its powerful antioxidant benefits.

What isn't in our Hair Therapy Shampoo

HUSSSH Hair Therapy Shampoo does NOT contain any harmful chemicals.

Finasteride is a prescription drug often used for male pattern hair loss, but it’s also linked to some serious side effects— depressed mood, depression, suicidal thoughts and sexual dysfunction (including decreased sex drive and inability to get and maintain an erection), and even infertility in women1. We believe there’s a better, healthier way to address thinning hair and alopecia in men and women.

Another common hair loss treatment chemical you won't find in HUSSSH Therapy Shampoo is Minoxidil. Originally a blood pressure medication, it opens blood flow to hair roots but offers little else for long-term hair health.

At Husssh, we take a different approach. Our Hair Therapy Shampoo harnesses the power of nature with four potent extracts—Rosemary Oil, Argan Oil, Serenoa, and Citrus Reticulata—giving you the benefits of Finasteride and Minoxidil without negatively affecting your physical and mental well-being.

Instructions for Use

Start by washing your hair as you normally would. Once your hair is fully soaked and still warm from the shower, apply the same amount of shampoo you typically use. Massage the shampoo into your scalp for at least two minutes, making sure to cover your whole head. Then, wait for five minutes to let the essential oils penetrate the hair follicles. Rinse the shampoo off as usual. We recommend repeating the process one more time, but no more than that.

You can expect to see initial results around the 6-week mark if you’re using the shampoo daily as directed. If you don’t wash your hair every day, don’t worry—just know that results may take a bit longer. There are no instant effects with HUSSSH Therapy Shampoo; it works gradually to strengthen and thicken your hair over time. However, if you stop using the shampoo, most people notice that hair loss can return.

Our case studies show hair regrowth across different ethnicities and it works equally well for both men and women. Sometimes hair grows back at different rates in various parts of the scalp—this is completely normal.

HUSSSH Therapy Shampoo uses all-natural essential oils that target your hair roots, helping to restore the nutrients needed for healthy hair growth. A typical hair growth cycle is about four weeks, after which hair falls out and is replaced with new hair. This is why you’ll start seeing regrowth around the 6-week mark in areas where hair was previously lost. By 12 weeks, the full effects should be visible.

For best results, continue using the shampoo consistently. You may be able to reduce usage over time, but that depends on your hair’s response. Keep in mind that regular use will yield the best, long-lasting results.

Hair Therapy Shampoo FAQs

How can I improve my hair health?

There are several ways to keep your hair as healthy as possible. Eating a balanced diet is key since it supports your entire body, including your hair. We’ll dive deeper into that later in this article.

If you smoke, quitting can make a big difference. Smoking negatively impacts your body in many ways, and it can also worsen hair loss.

Taking good care of your hair is essential too. This means regularly using shampoo and conditioner, avoiding tight hairstyles, and minimizing heat exposure from things like straighteners, hair dryers, and even too much sun.

What should I eat for healthy hair?

A balanced diet is key not only for your overall health but also for keeping your hair strong and healthy. Lacking certain vitamins and minerals can lead to hair loss, so it's important to ensure you're getting enough of the right nutrients, especially protein.

Protein
Since your hair is mostly made of a protein called keratin, getting enough protein in your diet is crucial for healthy hair growth. Adults are generally advised to eat around 70g of protein per day. Good sources of protein include lean meat, eggs, beans, pulses, and fish.

What are some tips for maintaining healthy hair?

There are countless tips available online for healthy hair, but here are some straightforward practices you can easily incorporate into your routine:

Diet
Eating a balanced diet supports overall hair health. Deficiencies in essential nutrients or not consuming enough calories can contribute to hair loss. Aim to get your vitamins and minerals from natural food sources rather than supplements, as they often contain synthetic versions of these nutrients.

Hair Washing Routine

  • Use a gentle shampoo with minimal ingredients to avoid stripping moisture from your hair. Be cautious of shampoos with harsh chemicals.
  • Apply conditioner every time you wash your hair. It helps keep your hair smooth, moisturized, and reduces frizz, friction, and breakage.
  • Use your fingertips to apply shampoo and conditioner, not your palms, to avoid damaging your hair, especially if it’s thinning or falling out. A gentle scalp massage can invigorate your hair roots.
  • Avoid heavy scalp massages, as they can cause damage and breakage.

Hair Maintenance

  • Avoid backcombing or using brushes with stiff bristles.
  • Use a wide-tooth comb, especially when your hair is wet, to prevent breakage.
  • Limit how often you handle your hair—resist twisting, rubbing, or pulling.
  • Steer clear of very tight hairstyles for long periods, such as tight buns, ponytails, braids, or cornrows.
  • Minimize heat exposure from styling tools, hot showers, and the sun, as excessive heat can weaken your hair.
  • If you swim, wear a tight-fitting swim cap to reduce chlorine exposure. After swimming, wash your hair thoroughly and use a deep conditioner or moisturizer to replenish moisture.

What factors affect hair growth?

Hair growth rates can vary from person to person, and several factors influence how quickly and effectively your hair grows:

Genetics
Your genes play a significant role in whether you experience male or female pattern baldness. Some people will face this type of hair loss, while others won’t.

Age
Hair loss, including a receding hairline, is often a natural part of aging. In fact, about half of men over 50 will experience some degree of hair loss.

Sex
Research suggests that male hair may grow faster than female hair, but your sex doesn’t affect your nutritional needs. Ensuring you get all the necessary vitamins and minerals through your diet can help support healthy hair growth.
